----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------LANDSCAPE, SCENERY, PEOPLE AND ACTIONS. CAN A PHOTO COMPRESS ALL THE SENSORY INPUT OF A HUMAN? this is not so easy i guess. a lot of people tried in the passage of time to do it. some people did it so well and left a mark in history and some people tried and failed miserably. i don't know if some of the most famous photographers like koudelka or salgado had something in common but someone can give them some credits for their effort. koudelka was in the beginning an aeronautical engineer while salgado was doing something related to finance. both deliberately practice the art of photography by crossing the boundaries of what modern society wants you to do. put your life in order, marry, have a normal, quiet and easy life. insteaf josef(koudelka) decided in his free time to go to the gypsy camp in his town and started taking photos of gypsies. what an initiative. he crossed the mainstream thought, and he tried to capture something. from my perspective this something combines a lot of things inside: emotions, the current political situation, landscape, and history. so i can guess a photo can compress and transmit a lot of things necessary for someone to think. I FIND IT A BIT BORING LANDSCAPE PHOTOS. LATELY I STARTED ALSO FINDING BORING STILL PERFECT PHOTOS. IN THE EFFORT TRYING TO CAPTURE MOVEMENT MOST OF MY PHOTOS ARE BLURRY. I WANTED TO COMBINE HUMANS, URBAN SCENERY AND ANY SORT OF MOVEMENT OR ACTION. modern society
why are you still here reading this? maybe you have enough free time, maybe you want to see where this thing will lead. i guess nowhere. that is the biggest illusion that people have and this illusion gets bigger and bigger by how modern society is being built and how it USES one of the main tools of it which is called capitalism. the illusion of the meaning and that we are heading somewhere. some people call it religion, some people call it salvation, some people call it another life after death. i don't know. you can build and sell a lot of stuff by persuading people that there is something after death. as camus said death is the most absurd thing. you try, you try, and then you die. so absurd. then why is worth life living for is all of these is for nothing? that's a discussion for another time. but lets focus on the important things first. modern society, capitalism, and desire. one of the main tools of capitalism nowadays is desire. take a moment for youself, breath, and think about it. the last time you opened a social app, why did you do it? desire maybe? all these apps, all these algorithms are shaped with a goal: to optimize the user time in the app. and how the do that? by shaping your desire. REELS, FRIEND SUGGESTIONS, PRODUCTS AND NEWS THAT WILL MAKE YOU SPEND MORE AND MORE TIME IN THE APP. YOU END UP SPENDING SO MUCH TIME IN A SPACE WHERE YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE. READING THE NEWS THAT YOU LIKE, SEEING THE THINGS THAT YOU PREFER AND TALKING TO YOUR FRIENDS. BUT IS THIS REALITY? YOUR OWN REALITY MAYBE OR A SUB-SPACE OF A HIGHLY COMPLEX SYSTEM THATS IS CALLED LIFE.
